Al-Istighfar Mosque Kindergarten is a 4-hour preschool programme for children aged 4 to 6 years old using Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) Framework as guideline. The Kindergarten also caters to children aged 3 years old for a 3-hour programme following the Early Years Development Framework (EYDF).

iTeach Curriculum

iTeach curriculum consists of 6 principles which guide teaching and learning so that children will achieve the outcome of education by helping them acquire knowledge and skills through the learning areas and positive dispositions towards learning.

The Kindergarten adopted the Early Years Development Framework (EYDF) principles of learning for children aged 3 years old.

As one of the pillars and guiding principles of the EYDF, the intentional programme generate culturally and developmentally appropriate opportunities for children’s holistic development and learning in a safe and healthy environment. 

Value-Added Programmes

Aside from the curriculum, there are also value-added programmes such as, Moral Education, EarlyREAD Programme and kidsREAD Programme by National Library Board and Inter-Generational Bonding Programme
